Small Steps Child Counseling
Small Steps Child Counseling, LLC provides our youngest members of society and their families with specialized clinical mental health care. Small Steps works with children from birth to 18 years of age with numerous child counseling styles. Our approach focuses on helping children develop healthy neurological and psychological functioning as well as healthy relationships and resiliency.
OFFCenter Community Arts Project
A 501 (c) 3 non-profit arts organization which believes art-making is central to community building.OFFCenter is a safe place for everyone to make art, free of charge. Their mission is to promote positive self identity and resilience through art making my providing a safe environment for creative social interaction with an emphasis to enhance the lives of those most marginalized in our community.
A community-based project and collective open studio space where art is used as the connection for community-building for those without and those with homes. Art therapists also facilitate closed group sessions weekly for sub-sections of AHCH clients.
** Both OFFCenter Community Arts Project and Art Street where founded by Janis Timm-Bottos, PhD., ATR-BC, PC; who is an art therapist and researcher native to New Mexico. OFFCenter was the first Art Hive that Janis developed with Art Street being the second. She went on to develop four more art hives both in the United States and Canada. She certainly is a leader in the field and should be celebrated.
